blah blah christmas blah blah

I have never been very 'Christmasy' as an adult. Most people think this is weird. I don't enjoy Christmas trees, lights and tinsel. Tinsel has a smell to it and it smells sad to me. I don't like Xmas cards - they are a waste of paper. I don't believe in Jesus Christ so religious reasons to celebrate it are nada. During my adult life I have always been disappointed and saddened by the actions and/or words of a partner around this time of the year too (and by that i don't mean whatever gift they buy me.) For me Christmas sucks in more ways than one. We have a tree up in our living room and there are lights up outside too - this is for the kids because they love it. However i really do enjoy buying the perfect little gifts for my loved ones. Now if I can just give up breastfeeding altogether so I can have a proper Xmas drink, it may be a merry Xmas after all.
