I wanted to fit in with the right clothes and hair when i was in primary school, you know to be 'normal' like the other kids in their brand name gear, their two parent families in their brick houses with pools,
tv's in their rooms and fizzy drinks in their fridges. My family was odd. Single mother raising us five children, with hardly any money at all,no car, certainly no brand name stuff and strictly no sugar policy. My mother still is the sugar
nazi. As i grew up and hit high school, i started to see that odd was a good thing and being 'normal' was boring to me. I have met a lot of oddballs during my life and all my friends are complete nutcases but i mean that with the greatest of affection. To me being out of the norm, eccentric, weird, odd or whatever you want to call it, will bring you the most exciting and colourful life you could ask for. How boring it would be if we were all the same. Everything seems more desirable if its weird, wacky or just different....
