The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about

I watched an episode rerun (season 5 episode 72) of Sex and the City the other day and thought it was funny when Carrie got that strange look from Nina Katz when she worked out who she was. Well I got what I call the Oh face, from someone I talked to last night. After ten minutes of general conversation, the young lady asked what my name was and then looked as if her mind was ticking over, then a look of realisation and then it ended with the Oh face when she put two and two together. See I did something a while ago that I am not proud of and regret very much...news travels fast and the next thing you know everyone knows your business....even people who dont know you by face. Lucky for me, I see the lighter side of this.
