What do you want to be when you grow up?

I asked someone what they wanted to be when they grow up last night...this person is in their twenties, so already grown. Then i started to think...kids are forced by schools and parents to decide on career paths when alot are too young to know exactly who they are as a person. Even I have asked my 13 year old son on numerous occasions what he wants to do career wise. I grew up thinking I was going to be a fashion designer so I went to study design for a few years and had a few kids along the way. Then when I was 22 I had a major shake up in my life, moved back to Newcastle and decided Fashion design was no longer for me and I was quite disappointed that I wasted all that that time learning skills i had no interest in anymore. I would love to simply be an artist for the rest of my life but unfortunately it doesn't bring in a steady income for taking care of my family....so its time I go back to study.....something...not sure what. If only I could be paid a motza for looking after these four kids who keep calling me Mum.
