As we freeze our nuts off and get steadily more homicidal at the endless Christmas themed assault on our senses, rather than electrocuting Santa with a quick rewiring of the Oxford Street Christmas lights or liberating a thousand live turkeys in a particularly smug branch of Sainsbury’s, why not score yourself or your loved ones a wicked piece of very reasonably priced art and forget that mug who won the X Factor last night is going to be driveling down the airwaves for the next month.

Street is all well and good, and it is the purest medium of all, but artists do need to live and continue to fund their public mission, and who can resist a fine piece of guerilla inspired artwork on their wall anyway. We've been recently told that the Invasion Monsters in Issue Two were created by Post Morten. We publish hundreds of photographs in each issue so tracking down all the artists names is a job in itself. We'd have to become expects in man hunting, CSI conditioned and prepared to trudge the streets at night in all weathers. STARCHILD’S 3rd SOLO SHOW: “STRANGE DAYS”

STARCHILD will be presenting his 3rd solo show in Soho this September

Starchild’s work has been making waves in the contemporary art world with his bold, energetic paintings which utilise obscure printed material and a vibrant mix of paint, spray and cartoon imagery. This exhibition continues his tradition of abstract and semi figurative exploration utilising elements of forgotten media- from 1960s glamour magazines to 1930s auto trade manuals, remixed with pop imagery and random graphic elements in his attempt to illustrate a world constantly in flux.

Despite not claiming to be a part of the urban art scene, his work has been embraced by it. Starchild has exhibited extensively in London and Bristol, selling his work alongside artists such as Banksy and Sickboy. This summer he took part in UPFEST, The world’s biggest urban paint festival. His work has also recently broken into the US . This is an unmissable opportunity to see and buy his latest work and limited edition prints.

There is a private view on Thursday 3rd September from 6pm.
